The workforce has changed. I've lived this from both sides: first as a CHRO inside fast-growing companies, then on the technology side helping build the platforms meant to support HR. Most enterprises today are running on HR systems built for a world that no longer exists: static org charts, predictable roles, entirely human workforces. The reality now is different. Employees, contractors, fractional talent, and AI agents all operating side by side. The gap between how work actually happens and the systems designed to support it has become impossible to ignore.
We started Novaworks to close that gap. We're building an AI-native operating system for Total Workforce Management on the ServiceNow AI Platform. One that treats every type of worker as a first-class participant, and that puts HR teams back in control of the experience they deliver. An operating system that leads with Digital Trust: Governance, Security and Controls.
What we're delivering isn't only a technology problem to solve. It's an orchestration problem: across HR and IT, across human and machine, across systems that have to actually talk to each other for work to feel effortless. Solving it requires the perspective of people who have run HR, IT, and enterprise operations at scale and can pressure-test what we're building against the realities of the workforce they manage every day.
That's why we built the Novaworks Advisory Board.
We structured the board to mirror how our customers function, with HR and IT operating as partners, not adjacencies. The Technical Advisory Board focuses on product architecture, roadmap, and the realities of building enterprise software on ServiceNow at scale. The Practitioner Advisory Board focuses on HR use cases, workforce strategy, and the operating questions every CHRO and HR leader is sitting with right now. The two boards will collaborate separately and together.
The engagement model is operational, not ceremonial: three to four strategic sessions a year, working sessions between, and direct one-to-one conversations whenever an advisor's input is the right input for a specific question.
“Having spent nearly two decades in HR technology and transformation, I’ve seen firsthand how much the workforce has evolved beyond what most enterprise systems were designed to support,” said Novaworks’ Advisory Board Chair, Tiffani Murray, Head of Digital HR Strategy in the Global Talent Organization at LinkedIn. “What the Novaworks team is building feels deeply aligned to where workforce transformation is headed next. I’m honored to serve as Chair of an Advisory Board bringing together leaders with such extensive operational and transformation experience.”
The Practitioner Advisory Board brings together CHROs, HR transformation leaders, and operators from companies including Bell Canada, HealthEdge, TTEC, Computacenter, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Several have led large-scale HCM implementations from the buyer's seat. Several have run deskless and distributed workforces across tens of thousands of employees. All of them have lived inside the gap between what HR technology promises and what employees experience in practice, not theory.
